Account Manager – Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Remote)

Summary

The Account Manager will design and execute programs aligned with Janus and customer initiatives to deliver business-aligned outcomes and are ultimately responsible for managing the overall health of assigned customers.  They collaborate with subject matter experts, customer leadership, and key stakeholders to develop program strategy to achieve the program’s vision and objectives. In addition, they are responsible for understanding the customer’s goals & strategic objectives, operational environment and constraints, and innovating solutions and services to achieve or surpass those goals, and contractual obligations.

The Account Manager is a hands-on contributor to strategic priorities, including customer satisfaction, key account retention, up-sell/cross-sell, and referenceability.  Additional responsibilities include developing and maintaining program metrics and outcomes reporting. They also lead cross-functional process and program improvement efforts and sets and manages the financial plan for the program.

Responsibilities

  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to their accounts, by actively measuring, monitoring, and ensuring the health of the program components from financial, dependency, risk and mitigation, and schedule perspectives
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters, partnering with the Customer Implementation and Enablement team on delivery
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Partner cross functionally to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Enable the delivery of customer value stories and success metrics by creating and maintaining key performance indicators
  • Create and deliver weekly, monthly, or quarterly (or at appropriate business frequency) business reviews
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Growth Team to develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare relevant status reports
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to establish vision, objectives, and program strategy, providing voice of customer input on Product development
  • Actively seek out and solve for barriers / problems / risks to successful delivery of program objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Success or similar field required.
  • 5+ years in a client facing role, ideally leading implementations and support in the healthcare industry, including independently managing multiple complex projects/initiatives with competing priorities and deadlines
  • 5+ years of experience with analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, forming opinions with corresponding recommendations, and presenting the results to key stakeholders including executive leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate analysis, including trends and opportunities, to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Articulate, assertive and persuasive with the ability to adapt communication style and approach to audiences at all levels
  • Proven problem-solving skills, including balancing multiple priorities and addressing team and/or prioritization conflicts
  • Prior experience leading, managing and/or collaborating with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful when confronted with ambiguity.
  • Change management knowledge and/or experience
  • Effective organizational skills and attention to detail, and ability to prioritize/organize/multitask and meet multiple deadlines
  • Experience selling to and/or interfacing with C-Suite executives (I.e. CFOs) and revenue cycle VP/CRO/Director levels strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with evaluating, bench-marking and improving business processes
  • Experience working at health system or healthcare technology company preferred.
  • Experience working at a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred.
  • Experience working in a high growth environment preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • The position can be remote and does not require a specific living location

Travel Requirements

This role does require domestic travel.  These travel expectations will be communicated by the department manager or executive. Janus is committed to providing as much flexibility and advanced notice as possible related to scheduling travel.

Physical Demands

This job operated in a professional remote or in-office environment. This job uses standard office equipment. This job is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee has the flexibility to move as needed. Constantly operates a computer, phone, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. The employee frequently communicates with internal and/or external people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a timely manner. Must be able to recognize objects from short and long distances.
