Product Analyst – Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Remote)

Summary 

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our team! This person will complete product and customer readiness activities including build, configuration, and testing related to our automation products in healthcare technology. The Product Analyst is responsible for applying healthcare revenue cycle subject matter expertise to refine and optimize our products through maintaining configuration and customer specific build activities associated with each product launch. This person will contribute by providing the data input necessary for improving and developing algorithms and understanding the ways data can be used for predicting software performance and speeding up the development process. A successful candidate will have high attention to detail, an appreciation for consistent documentation, and creative problem solving to develop new automation tests and configurations.  

Responsibilities 

  • Will be an individual contributor within our Product Delivery and Customer Readiness team and should have a strong sense of autonomy in their individual tasks
  • Manage user interface configurations changes including
  • Rule template building, validation, and extraction confirmation for Intelligent Document Processing technology
  • Rule template building, validation and detailed annotation labeling within Process Intelligence technology
  • Maintain configuration, verification, and testing of Automation bot technology
  • Create data label annotations for Revenue Cycle workflows using subject matter expertise including creation of standard labels encompassing full workflow
  • Research specific claim issues with portal navigation or other systems and provide details for technical enhancements
  • Create testing documentation for new builds across technology suite and maintain consistent testing procedures
  • Set up processes to continually deliver high quality consistent data annotations efficiently
  • Propose and experiment on improvements of dataset collection processes
  • Audit existing testing and annotation processes for consistency and correctness
  • Enter technical fixes/issues in Jira system with appropriate details and respond to any questions from the engineering team
  • Validate changes in Janus tool suite
  • Partner with other functions of the company such as customer success, product, and engineering to share high quality feedback

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management functions such as billing, collections, authorization management, analytics, data annotation, or other relevant fields preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized and process-driven, without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Consistent ability to produce relevant documentation of procedures and testing approaches
  • Ability to suggest improvements and dig deep into optimizing and streamlining processes
  • Critical thinking skills to problem solve creatively within Janus technology suite
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment of an early-stage startup
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills
  • Preferred experience with sophisticated technology such as optical character recognition, natural language processing, robotic process automation, machine learning, and data annotation products
  • Experience working at health system or healthcare technology company preferred.
  • Experience working at a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred.
  • Experience working in a high growth environment preferred.  

Travel Requirements 

This role does require domestic travel.  These travel expectations will be communicated by the department manager or executive. Janus is committed to providing as much flexibility and advanced notice as possible related to scheduling travel. 

Physical Demands 

This job operated in a professional remote or in-office environment. This job uses standard office equipment. This job is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee has the flexibility to move as needed. Constantly operates a computer, phone, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. The employee frequently communicates with internal and/or external people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a timely manner. Must be able to recognize objects from short and long distances.
