Business Development Representative – Healthcare Revenue Cycle (Remote)

Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be looking to break into healthcare sales and has a positive, proactive, and can-do mindset, looking to turn potential prospects into new business opportunities for Executive Directors (EDs). The Business Development Representative is responsible for the outreach to prospective clients with the objective to identify potential client customers, and to set qualified appointments for EDs. 

Responsibilities 

  • This go-getter individual will hit their KPIs and have success by utilizing their high attention to detail mindset, excellent communication, and research skills.
  • Articulate Janus Health value prop via phone, email, social marketing, etc.
  • Develop and manage high volume and quality prospecting to generate outbound leads through calls, emails, account-based marketing, and other marketing channels
  • Partner with marketing to engage inbound leads about how our platform could help them
  • Understand the market, the brand, and the challenges prospects face, mapping out an account’s key decision makers, identifying their purchase obstacles, and clearly articulating how our platform could help them
  • Conduct discovery with prospects and provide ongoing feedback about the quality of leads, as well as prospect challenges
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual targets, working closely with your manager to ensure pipeline progress
  • Maintain data in Salesforce per sales and marketing guidance

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.  
  • 1+ years of experience in a sales capacity in a Saas business environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to follow sales processes while utilizing dedicated sales tools such as Salesforce and Outreach/Salesloft (including creation of accounts, management of opportunities and pipelines, and reporting)
  • Experience selling to and working with C-Level and top line management to understand business strategy and objectives
  • Ability to think beyond completing day to day tasks and focus on big picture strategy
  • Excellent communication, analytical problem-solving, process navigation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working at health system or healthcare technology company preferred.
  • Experience working at a software as a service (SaaS) company preferred.
  • Experience working in a high growth environment preferred.  

Travel Requirements 

This role does require domestic travel.  These travel expectations will be communicated by the department manager or executive. Janus is committed to providing as much flexibility and advanced notice as possible related to scheduling travel. 

Physical Demands 

This job operated in a professional remote or in-office environment. This job uses standard office equipment. This job is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee has the flexibility to move as needed. Constantly operates a computer, phone, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. The employee frequently communicates with internal and/or external people. Must be able to exchange accurate information in a timely manner. Must be able to recognize objects from short and long distances.
