Manager, Product Marketing

Summary

The Manager, Product Marketing will be responsible for learning, and continuously documenting, everything there is to know about our market, buyers, and products. In the Manager, Product Marketing role, you will establish product positioning, identify, and communicate market differentiation, and translate product features into benefits that resonate with our audience. In addition, you will support our content strategy through the development of compelling content that not only drives leads, but also shapes the industry’s perspective. The ideal Manager, Product Marketing is an outgoing self-starter with experience in brand marketing, product positioning, and developing meaningful content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product messaging that sets our solution apart from others in the market and gives them a unique selling point.
  • Maintain target personas, ensuring they are comprehensive and up to date with prospect priorities and challenges.
  • Translate product details into simple, polished, and engaging content specifically crafted to capture audience attention and address their pain points.
  • Communicate the vision and value of our solution to our sales team and develop sales enablement tools that facilitate the selling process.
  • Write compelling and relevant content such as eBooks, whitepapers, PPT decks, case studies, videos, website copy and blog posts across a variety of marketing channels.
  • Test and improve messaging and ad copy by evaluating projects using relevant KPIs and feedback from current and former clients / projects.
  • Ensure that sales and marketing collateral remains up to date as product enhancements are released.
  • Work with internal teams (product management, sales, marketing) and external agencies to drive product marketing content from ideation to completion.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B product marketing, ideally with a background in revenue cycle and/or B2B healthcare technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Highly organized, and able to problem-solve and prioritize when faced with ambiguity.
  • Able to work well with others, take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable synthesizing information into clear, actionable deliverables.
  • Skilled in project management, with experience working with both internal and external teams.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and can work effectively as part of a remote team.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment of a startup.
  • Has fun, celebrates success, and contributes to a positive culture!
