Senior Account Manager

Summary

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the overall experience of our current customers, utilization of our products, and value/ROI realization. As the Senior Account Manager, you will also handle upsells, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities. By serving as a consultative resource, you will help further our mission of empowering health systems and its operational workforce to achieve more and reduce the cost of care nationwide. As an entrepreneurial, data-driven problem solver, you will educate current clients on the overall value of our end-to-end platform and look for opportunities expand customer accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing account management plan to maximize value for our customers and to maximize revenue for Janus through upsell / cross sell / and renewal opportunities with agreed upon quarterly and annual targets.
  • Understand each customer's environment and strategic initiatives to best align Janus' solutions and make recommendations on software application.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters; build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize value for customers while meeting or exceeding upsell/cross sell/renewal targets.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Own the overall patient experience and responsible CSAT and NPS scores and customer referral sources.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product to relay customer feedback relative to our capabilities and messaging.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly/annual account management initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Forecast and track account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Collaborate with growth and product teams on planning and executing on the Product Advisory Group to seek feedback from current and potential customers.
  • Responsible for managing customer utilization and value measurement/realization.
  • Actively participate in relevant industry organizations and associations; co-presents on key industry topics with customers.
  • Respond to customer requests for immediate issues while also being able to take on the accountability of driving issue resolution to completion; serve as the point of escalation.
  • Actively inspires and energizes project teams; mentor and manage teams supporting the account management function.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in a customer-facing, customer success, consulting, or account management role; extensive experience with upselling new work opportunities and renewing accounts with customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in technology, enterprise healthcare technology solutions, SaaS, or Healthcare Consulting; demonstrated success developing client strategy and driving results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent prioritization, logical deduction and organizational skills.
  • Ability to innovate in a fast-growing work environment and comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills to be able to work with customers and comfortably present to C-level executives.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment of a startup.
